Euro Coins Set with Silver Coin (2015)

The Numismatic and Philatelic Office of the Vatican City presents the new proof version of euro coins, composed of 8 values, for the year 2015. The obverse of each coin represents a portrait of His Holiness Francis - Sovereign of the Vatican City, the inscription “Città del Vaticano” and twelve stars. The reverse of the coins, instead, is common to all the countries which share the single European currency. Both the 20 euro silver coin and the 50 euro gold one are dedicated to special moments of speeches or homilies of Pope Francis.
